SUPPORTING FEMALE TALENT IN MUSIC
Descúbreas is a program for the promotion of female talent in music. We want to focus on young women between the ages of 16 and 35 and help them overcome any invisible barriers that may frustrate their career aspirations.
We have several objectives
To empower young women who decide to take their first steps in music by providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge.
To show young people and society in general that there are women in the music industry who are leaders in this sector.
To generate a safe space, a community to connect music schools, emerging talent and female music professionals.
Women, music and talent
One of the most groundbreaking articles in the scientific journal Science concludes that gender roles emerge at the age of 6 and influence play, decisions and, over time, expectations and vocation.

Descúbreas Mentoring
We have helped 16 young artists from the province of Pontevedra to record a song in a professional studio and a video clip, you can see the videos made and learn a little more about the artists by visiting their profile.

Here you can find training resources such as online consultations and video tutorials, and we focus on new references to bring their entire universe closer and create new forms of collaboration around music.
